I am a 40 year old married white man living in the American Midwest. 2016 has been a rough year for me. I've been struggling with serious anxiety and depression all year. When election time came around, I started writing about it to help me deal with my feelings. And then I kept writing, and writing, and haven't stopped yet.
Here is some of what I have written since November 8, 2016, on Facebook and on message boards, lightly edited.
The purpose of this blog is not polemical. It is to chronicle my experiences and emotions over a particular period of time.
This blog is not an invitation to discourse. I know very well what "discourse" means on the Internet today. I am not on Twitter.
My hope is that you may find what I have written to be of some small help to you. I make no apologies and offer no regrets if it is not.
